Cardinal Professional Corporation was founded by Bernard Cardinal, CA, in 1955 and is located at 717 Second Street East in Cornwall, Ontario.
For over 65 years, the firm has helped the community’s businesses grow. Many of our clients have been with the firm since 1955. Three generations of Cardinal chartered accountants have ensured, and continue to ensure, stability in your accounting, bookkeeping, tax, advisory, succession planning and audit needs.

Jean-Luc Cardinal, CPA-CA
Jean-Luc holds a Bachelor of Administration from the University of Ottawa and obtained the Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 1979. Prior to joining the family practice in 1979, he was employed by Touche Ross, today known as Deloitte. Jean-Luc has over 40 years of experience serving this community and has a diverse and loyal clientele in all spheres of business. Over the years, Jean-Luc has developed expertise in the construction field, Fast Food industry, Retail and non-profit organizations, amongst other industries.
Pierre-Luc Cardinal, CPA-CA, CFA, CPA
Pierre-Luc holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and a graduate diploma in accounting from HEC Montreal. He wrote the Uniform Final Examination of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2006 and ranked amongst the top performers in the country on the honor roll and was the top writer from HEC Montreal. Pierre-Luc obtained the Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 2008. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in the United States.
Colin Allaire
Colin joined the firm in 2019. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in the private and public sectors as a financial analyst. Colin is currently a CPA student and has extensive experience in bookkeeping, cloud accounting and personal income tax preparation.
